Easter Holidays + More!!

Wednesday 13th March 2024

Hi everyone! It's been a while since we updated here as we have been as busy as ever and have had 2 members of staff leave to bigger and better things and been training up new volunteers. There may be opportunities to work some hours with us as well soon, so please pop in and speak to Deirdre if you are interested.

Now on to the work! Our Easter Programme is now live which you find on our website here and over on our Facebook and Instagram pages! We have plenty of activities happening and a few trips though places are limited so get in quick to avoid disappointment!

This is as well as the sessions we are running in Tenterden and Bockhanger. In Tenterden we are at the pavilion on the recreation ground which is open from 3.30 - 6.30pm Monday to Wednesday. During the Easter holidays we will be opening from 1pm.

In Bockhanger we will be outside the Bockhanger Shops on Wednesdays from the Easter holidays and working with Sports Connect on Thursdays at the Rectory Way park on Beecholme Drive delivering a football and sports session which is already taking place on Thursday afternoons from 4.30 - 6pm.

Aside from the usual activities and sessions we run at the club some of our members are also taking part in the Sk8side "Gr8 Don8" - a scheme we are running where young people run activities to raise money for their club. The next one will be a garage sale that one of our members is running. So if you have any unwanted items or want to help with the fundraising efforts, pop in and speak to Deirdre and let us know how you might be able to help.
